We need a new Banner!

Charles? Whoa! I can't believe you started this site! I think this is very neat mentorship tool but what i can't stand is the banner, I'm sorry. It has this hazy looking Viking and it's all stretched out. Do you need help with the banner? Perhaps we should try to find Mr Stanley to get the official vike logo.

haha, yes. I would very much appreciate help with the banner. I was actually trying to give it a misty feel, but I guess that didn't go too well.

Would you be interested in helping out with creating the banner schan 05?

If not, I am hearing the following suggestions:
- make it more vivid
- make it less stretched out horizontally
- get an original logo

Someone actually told us about our slightly squished banner while we were testing the site with some users, we simply thought "Oh, it's probably not too noticeable."

Clearly we were wrong

Everyone's offered so much help that we're thinking of holding a Banner Design Contest in the General Information Station forum.

I like the words underneath, the whole idea and all but the way its placed looks kinda cheesy =.="
I suggest maybe using a different north logo... a cuter one? A friendlier one? Just not this one.

I like the idea of a quote, but not the one chosen.
