Burnaby School Board Presentation
We gave a presentation to the Burnaby school board on Tuesday May 13th about Project Connect. The trustees and superintendents were astounded by the idea, calling it "revolutionary" and novel in attempting to tap in its alumni resource. They're certainly watching this idea with interest and the same goes to some other schools (e.g. Alpha Secondary ;-) ) who were there as well.

Notices have begun popping up on the doorways of classrooms at BNS as Mr. Mickie informed teachers of the initiative during their last staff meeting and also passed around notices created by Ms. Robinson. A copy of the notice will be sent up as soon as I can figure out how to convert it into an appropriate forum for here.
Columns
There has been some talk behind the scenes about some topics that individuals are interested in. We will need to figure out the formats and all, but we are considering some specific written pieces on certain topics such as independent living, procrastination, university workload, and others that some members have expressed interest in.
